Written by Vernon Haskins of the Durham Center Museum and published by Big Acorn Press of Oak Hill in 1967, this monograph relates the ill-fated tale of one of the earliest railroads in the State of New York. This volume remains one of the only in-depth treatments of the history of this short lived freight line.
