The pages in this subcategory of the town resources section of our website contain the transcribed text of recognitions used in each of the Greenville Local History Group calendars published from 1996 through 2022. These recognitions reflect the sentiment and desire of members of the Greenville Local History Group and Greenville Town Historian Don Teator to commemorate community members under the following criteria:

The individual or group has provided service above and beyond ordinary public service for the community, and/or;
The individual or group has brought acclaim to the community through their accomplishments.

The year after a name indicates the year of the calendar in which the recognition appeared, and several posthumous recognitions may have appeared in a single year.
