This publication prepared by the Greene County American Revolution Bicentennial Committee was authored jointly by Claire L. Ross and Edward R. Kozacek as an updated overview of the history of Greene County. Meant to broaden and supplement existing County histories written over the past century, this publication includes photographic illustrations and inline citations to help readers unlock and dive deeper into the individual topics discussed by the authors. Unlike previous histories, this publication focuses more on events and themes than on rote recitation of town, government, and family histories - thus making it a somewhat unique and valuable offering even for those readers already versed in other local history resources.
