This short history of the hamlet of East Windham, New York was prepared and self published in 1992 by Margaret Olsen, one of the last descendants of Barney Butts who was a noted hotel keeper in the hamlet from its earliest years. Contained within is a short history with a selection of historic photographs of the hamlet combed from family archives and personal memoirs.
