genealogical inquiries

The Vedder Research Library has one part-time staff member, and as such we cannot offer genealogical research services. If you are conducting your own research and require one of the following:
- an obituary
- marriage record
- baptismal record
- a will or estate documents
then please fill this form out to the best of your ability and we will try to turn up the appropriate document. Our current rates for scans/photocopies are $0.25/per page with a search fee of $15.00 to locate records on your behalf. Again, we do not offer research services, and will only return specifically requested documents to facilitate your own work.

If you need more extensive research done but are unable to visit, we encourage you to contact a local genealogist who can do research on your behalf. One researcher currently for hire in our area is:
